John Potts Diary, 1864

John Potts of Noblesville, Ind., served with the 101st Indiana Infantry Regiment (101st Indiana Volunteers), Company D, in Tennessee and Georgia during the Civil War. The collection consists of John Potts's pocket diary with entries 21 February 1864-9 June 1864 that document military life, troop movements, and engagements with the enemy, and includes a history of the 101st Indiana Infantry Regiment.
